Privacy Policy

Important notice

This Privacy Policy is provided for general information and does not constitute legal advice. You should have qualified counsel review it before relying on it.

Overview

Raton Laveur LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), doing business as Laveur, operates laveur.co and develops custom automation and software solutions for business clients. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit our website, submit a consultation request, or when we deliver and maintain software on behalf of our clients.

Scope and how we act on your data

For laveur.co and related marketing pages, we act as the data controller for information you provide to us directly (for example, through our contact forms). For custom software we build and maintain for clients, we typically act as a data processor handling information on behalf of and under the instructions of that client. Our clients remain responsible for their own privacy obligations toward their end users, such as business owners, employees, contractors, or other representatives who use a client’s solution (“Authorized Users”).

Client software engagements

Data practices for specific client projects may be described in greater detail in the applicable master services agreement, statement of work, or project-specific addendum. Those documents govern to the extent they address data handling for that engagement.

Information we collect

On our website, we may collect information you submit through forms (such as your name, email or phone number, and business details), technical data like IP address and browser type, and campaign attribution parameters (for example UTM tags and journey variants) to understand how visitors find us. In connection with client projects, we may receive or have access to contact information for Authorized Users, business data clients provide or make accessible for a project, and technical data incidental to operating software (such as logs, error reports, and usage metadata used for performance monitoring and troubleshooting). Where a solution integrates with a third-party payment platform, we may access transaction or sales data only as needed to operate that solution; we do not process or store payment card numbers, bank account credentials, or similar sensitive payment data. Payment processing remains with the designated provider.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, evaluate fit for our services, deliver and maintain software we are engaged to build, provide technical support, improve reliability and performance, measure how our marketing performs, and comply with applicable legal obligations. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for their marketing or for purposes unrelated to providing our services.

Data sharing and subprocessors

We may use service providers (such as cloud hosting providers) that process data on our behalf under confidentiality and use limitations appropriate to the services they perform. We do not disclose information to third parties except: (a) as directed by a client for whom we act as processor; (b) as required by law or legal process; or (c) where reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of our company, our clients, or others.

Storage and security

Website form submissions are stored in Google Cloud / Firebase Firestore in the United States. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure.

Retention

We retain information collected through our website until you request deletion, unless a longer period is required to comply with law or resolve a dispute. For client projects, retention and deletion are handled in accordance with our agreement with the applicable client, including return or secure deletion of client data when the engagement ends or upon the client’s request.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@laveur.co. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

Our services are directed to businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the latest version. Material changes may be communicated to affected clients where appropriate.
